Unlike LCD TVs, each pixel can be controlled individually to create extremely precise images with infinite contrast and perfect blacks.
LG OLED 8K TV – Measured in Accordance to International Standards
LG OLED 8K TV exceeds recommended Contrast Modulation levels (CM). The higher CM, the clearer the TV is able to deliver the fine details of images and texts. OLED 8K TV delivers real 8K resolution along with exceptional color and contrast.
1) The CM values were tested by VDE (Verband Der Elektrotechnik, one of the world’s foremost providers of standardization, product testing, and certification). The CM of tested display is for 7680 Horizontal resolution in a vertical 1×1 grille.

Standards established by the Committee under the Society for Information Display (SID).
